I've been a creed fan since I was 12! I remember I saw Halloween H20 in theatres Halloween night with my mom, she surprised me cause I am also a fan of the Trilogy, and it was awesome! At the end of the show, everyone cheered at the fact that Michael Myers was finally dead, lol. And the song,"What's This Life For" came on. I said, that is an awesome song Mom, who sings it? She went out to the stores all around and asked the same question. She finally got the album, tape, from a friend of hers for free, and I listened to it for as long as I could till I fell asleep. Creed reminds me of my mother alot! And she looked everywhere for the album just for me. And later on, she bought me all the albums. She passed away back in 2005. So I like Creed alot! They remind me of when my mother was there, when I got upset or angry, she would always pop your album in, and we would just kick back and listen. And I can't wait till the new album comes out!! I have a friend who loved Creed with a passion, and through much beratement, he finally moved on. It was for his own good. He's the type that will still jam "Sweet Child O Mine" like it's still the shit, oblivious to anything of substance. I actually found a Dixie Chicks cd in his car not too long ago. Fucking hopeless when it comes to music.

If you listen to the radio and really like everything they are playing, I don't have much to say to you about music. Radio rock is either really old, incredibly overplayed, or mass produced and very simplistic. Do you seriously see nothing wrong with fred durst? When limp bizkit made the album hot dog flavored water and chocolate covered starfish or whatever, I laughed my ass off. At the same time I really hated humanity because I am sure that album sold well and was played on the radio and people like you listened to it and you had an emotional response.

I don't listen to the radio, so I don't fall victim to things getting played out. Fred Durst is clearly terrible, but that doesn't mean he didn't put out a couple good things. It is a pointless argument like you said really. Pop-rock fans won't ever 'see the light'. And the 'elite' music listeners will shit on something without ever listening to it or giving it a fair shake because it is attached to a certain name.

I can see a lot of peoples' stances on bands like Linkin Park and Evanesence. I really don't try to defend them at all. Breaking Benjamin is a different story though. I don't think they are shallow at all. They have good music and they are better live than they are on album.

Does all your musical experiences have to be deep and moving? Do you enjoy music on different levels? I think it is ok to have some music that is just catch and fun to listen to. We all enjoy different things I guess. Some people like to have some light things to listen to and some people just have fun judging other peoples' music as shitty.

I try to not be judgmental but i can't help hating a lot of things. I dislike most people and most things, i was born full of hate. Nah, I guess I don't have music that I would only enjoy casually but wouldn't like to sit down and listen to and pay attention to. I like to pay attention to everything I listen to. That's not the same as having background music..just saying I like it all.

I like music a lot and subsequently have listened to a lot. Through that I've developed pretty particular tastes. When someone says they like these really bland generic bands I just think "why, there is so much better out there in the same vein".

I think people base their opinions about 311 on the couple songs they hear on the radio. You need to hear more of their stuff than that to get a better idea about the band. They have a lot of different sounds.

Do you enjoy music on different levels? I think it is ok to have some music that is just catch and fun to listen to. We all enjoy different things I guess. Some people like to have some light things to listen to and some people just have fun judging other peoples' music as shitty." I try to not be judgmental but i can't help hating a lot of things. I dislike most people and most things, i was born full of hate. Nah, I guess I don't have music that I would only enjoy casually but wouldn't like to sit down and listen to and pay attention to. I like to pay attention to everything I listen to. That's not the same as having background music..just saying I like it all. I like music a lot and subsequently have listened to a lot. Through that I've developed pretty particular tastes. When someone says they like these really bland generic bands I just think "why, there is so much better out there in the same vein".
